This piece was inspired by the coral reefs and the beautiful fish and other creatures that live there. The necklace consists of AB clear 8/0 seed beads as the main foundation, these beads were stitched peyote style and the beaded chain was made using a RAW stitch, Right Angle Weave.
The waterfall affect is created with single strands of amber 11/0 seed beads with branches stitched out of each strand.
There are 82 strands for a total of 66 grams of seed beads. 108 bicones were added along the inner strands in a multitude of colors.
The necklace is 18″ long by 4 ” at the widest part and the beaded chain is 1/4″ wide.
Forest green rainbow 11/0 seed beads were added along the edge of the upper foundation and at each strand and branch ending for a stunning affect.
The earrings were created with a herringbone tube and more branches and crystals. Surgical steel ear wires with rubber stop backs were added to finish the earrings. The earrings are 1 3/4″ long and 1/2″ wide.
